How we handle your information
We collect only what we need to answer you, sell and support products, and meet our legal obligations. We do not sell your personal information.
What we collect
- Contact details you give us, such as your name, email address, phone number and delivery address.
- Order details, such as what you bought and when.
- What you tell us in messages and demo bookings, such as the setting and the outcome you are exploring.
Payments are handled by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number.
Health information
Please do not send us health records or sensitive details about a person. If you tell us something about a person's needs so we can suggest a product, we use it only for that purpose.
How we use it
- To answer your questions and arrange demonstrations.
- To process, deliver, install and support your order, including warranty and returns.
- To keep records we are required to keep by law.
- To send you news or offers, but only if you have agreed. You can unsubscribe at any time.
Who we share it with
Only the people and services needed to do the job: the manufacturer or supplier, installers and couriers, and our service providers such as Stripe for payments and Calendly for bookings. Some of these services store information outside Australia. We never sell your personal information.
Videos
Some product pages include videos hosted on YouTube. Nothing loads from YouTube until you press play. The video then plays in YouTube's privacy enhanced mode, and Google's privacy policy applies to it.
Access, correction and complaints
You can ask to see or correct the information we hold about you. If you have a privacy concern, email tom@mrpurple.com.au and we will respond within 30 days. If you are not satisfied, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
